Registered Manager – Children’s Home (CIW)
Location: Bala, Gwynedd
Salary: £51,000 + £1,500 Car Allowance + Bonuses (up to £5,000)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity in children’s residential care?
We’re recruiting for a passionate and motivated Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children’s home in the stunning rural area of Bala, Gwynedd.
This home is set in a beautiful converted farmhouse with onsite recreational facilities, offering a warm, therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
*
Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated residential care team.
*
Ensure outstanding care and support for children and young people.
*
Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring full CIW compliance.
*
Oversee budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
*
Work closely with families, local authorities, and external professionals.
*
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safeguarding, and positive outcomes.
Requirements
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) – or working towards it.
*
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting.
*
Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
*
Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
