Job reference: (phone number removed) THE ROLE: The role involves managing an investigatory caseload where concerns are raised regarding a registrant’s fitness to practise, whether due to misconduct, competence, or health issues and preparing those matters for hearing before the appropriate panels or committees. This is varied, challenging and highly rewarding work, covering a wide range of cases — from large-scale fraud and multi-patient clinical failings through to matters involving inappropriate or sexualised conduct. THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with demonstrable experience in professional discipline, regulatory law, healthcare law, or criminal litigation. You will bring strong analytical, organisational and case management skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, high-volume environment. You will also have exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, proven strength in evidential analysis, legal drafting and procedural strategy and confidence in witness management and effective client liaison. Experience in advocacy or representing cases before tribunals will be highly regarded, as will a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care regulatory framework. THE FIRM: The firm is a highly regarded, Legal 500 national practice, recognised for its strength in regulatory and professional discipline work. With extensive experience acting for a broad range of regulatory and public sector clients, the firm has built a reputation for providing high-quality, timely and proportionate legal services across multiple professional sectors.
