About the role:
Teach Now is seeking an inspiring Religious Education Teacher to join this forward-thinking school from September 2025. This full-time, temporary position offers a meaningful opportunity to empower students with the tools to explore life’s big questions, develop tolerance, and understand diverse worldviews through an inclusive RE curriculum.
Key responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Encourage respectful dialogue and critical thinking in a multicultural classroom
• Promote moral, spiritual, and cultural development in line with the school’s ethos
• Collaborate with the Humanities department to develop engaging schemes of work
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to enhance outcomes
About you:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or a related field
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to inclusive, thought-provoking teaching
• Able to foster a safe and open classroom environment for discussion and reflection
