Your Mission
As a Religious Studies (RS) Teacher, you’ll create a safe and stimulating environment where students can explore religion, philosophy, and ethics. You’ll encourage curiosity, empathy, and independent thought—helping students understand the world and their place in it.
What You’ll Do as Religious Studies (RS) Teacher
Deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages.
Promote respectful discussion and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues.
Differentiate instruction to support all learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Humanities curriculum.
Support enrichment activities such as interfaith events, philosophy clubs, or debate teams.
Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
What You Bring as Religious Studies (RS) Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent qualifications.
Experience teaching Religious Studies, ideally in a secondary school setting.
A passion for philosophy, ethics, and world religions.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to inclusivity, reflection, and academic excellence.
Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
