Location – Hybrid/Hemel Hempstead with Nationwide Travel
Working Hours – 09:00 – 17:15 Monday - Friday

Job Description:
The role of Remediation Officer is responsible for overseeing the Assessment and Remediation element of the Compliance & Audit function by monitoring and reporting on the compliance of key building elements. Key responsibilities and tasks include:
To monitor and report on the compliance of Fire Safety equipment, lift & general M&E equipment, fire doors and cladding.
Writing, implementing and reviewing processes.
To act as the Group’s Primary Authority Liaison.
Working closely with the management team and other stakeholders to respond to Enforcement Notices and Fire Events.
To offer guidance in response to Fire Risk Assessments.
Tracking and answering Landlord Certificate queries from clients.
Answering Apartment Resales queries in relation to compliance status of buildings.
Liaising with Property Managers and leaseholders in relation to remediation projects with Government and developers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:
Experience in managing residential buildings in a managing agent environment.
An understanding of building safety related legislation.
Experience of major remediation projects.
Great communication skills and the ability to manage contractor relationships.
Experience of instructing and interpreting building/asset assessments.
Ideally qualified to ATPI level.
Open minded and self motivated with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Ability to understand and present new ideas.
Great IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
Full UK driving licence.
