Job Opportunity: Interim Class 3 Building Control Remote Plan Checker 🚨
Contract Length: Initial 3 Months
Hours: 15-25 Hours per Week (Flexible)
Rate: £55 per Hour (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote (UK-Based)
We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Class 3 Building Control Plan Checker to support our team on a remote, part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and detail-oriented professional to work flexibly from home while contributing to a high-performing and supportive Building Control team.
🔍 Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for checking plans remotely for Class 3 buildings, ensuring compliance with current UK Building Regulations. Your expertise will help maintain safety, quality, and legal compliance on a range of commercial and mixed-use projects.
✅ Requirements:
Demonstrable experience checking Class 3 building plans
In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CABE, CIOB)
Ability to work independently and deliver timely, accurate assessments
Strong communication and report-writing skills
