Pickfords is a fantastic national brand who specialise in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking for job security and progressive career opportunities. Pickford’s provide training for all staff, as well as providing all uniform and PPE.
This role is based in a warehouse (Bovington) and traveling to multiple military sites. With no lone working you will always be part of a great team.
Current salary: £25974
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 3:30pm
Friday 7:30am till 14:30pm
Extra hours maybe required to carry out some deliveries / collections, overtime will be paid.
What we’re looking for in our Driver/Porter:
* Manual Handling and Customer Service skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Excellent spoken English
* Health & Safety Awareness
* Risk Assessment Knowledge
* Driving licence with “B1 entitlement” / Manual car license (essential)
* Good level of fitness
Responsibilities include:
* Safe and successful completion of any relocation tasks
* Carry out point of work risk assessments as required
* Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles
* Carry out the safe assembly and dis-assembly of flat pack furniture.
