Renewables Electrician – Air Source Heat Pumps
Location: South Wales & surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £50,000 basic (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established and growing renewable energy specialist, delivering high-quality air source heat pump installations across domestic and light commercial settings. With a strong reputation for workmanship and customer care, they’re now looking to expand their team with a skilled Renewables Electrician.

Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for the electrical installation and commissioning of air source heat pump systems, working alongside heating engineers and project teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and safe installations. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to meaningful decarbonisation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation of ASHP systems in domestic and small commercial properties
- Wiring of controls, isolators, and integration with existing systems
- Testing, fault-finding, and commissioning of renewable heating systems
- Liaising with heating engineers and project managers to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensuring compliance with BS7671, MCS, and building regulations
- Completing relevant documentation and handover packs
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with ASHP or renewables installations
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel across South Wales and surrounding areas
