Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Hiring Manager you will:
Installing Solar PV systems across residential and commercial properties
Fitting EV charging stations and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
Conducting testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems
Completing certification and ensuring compliance with current regulations
Maintaining strong communication with clients and project managers
Travelling to sites primarily across Kent, with ability to travel nationwide on occasion
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Level 3 NVQ Qualified Electrician
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382-22)
ECS Card
AM2
Testing and Inspection (2391 or 2392)
BPEC Solar PV InstallationsDesirable:
LCL Level 3 Qualifications in EV, Electrical Installations or Energy Storage
Certified or experience with GivEnergy, SolarEdge, Tesla Powerwall

Salary and benefits of the Renewables Electrician role
Competitive base salary of £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience
Company van and fuel card provided for work-related travel
Company pension scheme
28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays
Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week, with paid overtime available (travel time excluded)
Occasional nationwide travel may be required- additional pay provided, along with fully covered hotel accommodation, breakfast, and evening meals
Core work area is within a 2-hour radius of the Maidstone office, with occasional projects further afield (e.g. Manchester or Newcastle)
