Job Description
Our Ampthill based client is expanding the renewables part of their business and are recruiting for a Renewables Technician to join their thriving depot. As a competent member of the Site Services Team, you will deliver and excel in providing quality services and client experience out in the field. You will be fully sector qualified to enable you to install, calibrate, and maintain products on clients’ sites. A strong problem solver, with effective communication skills, delivering work effectively and efficiently.
Job Purpose
To support our growing Renewables division offering eco-friendly products and sustainable power solutions and becoming the cleanest power division in the market.
Your Responsibilities
* Regular completion of preventative maintenance, servicing, health checks, MPBA Electrical and Solar PV Testing in line with the companies’ guidelines and legislative requirements (MPBA & Solar PV - Mandatory Training Provided)
* Installation and setup of renewable products on customer sites.
* Completion of site handovers to customers, working with the Product Support team to ensure a successful installation. Coaching site team members in the use of all renewable products. Completing sign off on site to ensure all equipment is operational/functioning (still relevant) and site agents are aware of how to use, manage and maintain.
* Complete all required repairs to renewable products as required.
* Decommissioning of all renewable products at the end of hire on customers sites, including but not limited to disconnection of all power, decommissioning of products, battery management.
