Park Avenue are delighted to be working with a leading London based housing provider to recruit an interim Rent Income Officer. Working within a busy rents department you will take responsibility for the effective management of rent income and arrears levels across your patch.
Your duties will include;
Monitor tenants rent accounts and take required action to address non-payment, including setting up repayment plans.
Review the incoming receipts of any housing benefit payments due and follow up on any discrepancies.
Initiate any legal action against continued arrears, including applying for and attending court on behalf of the organisation.
Investigate former tenant's arrears.
Liaise with other departments to ensure tenants have access to external organisations in relation to debt management.This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within the rent income departments for housing associations or local authorities. You will be able to utilise your existing knowledge to provide a seamless service to residents.
This client works a hybrid pattern.
