The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Repair Technician to join a specialist engineering team. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic equipment to component level.

You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is fully functional, compliant, and ready for use, supporting the delivery of essential services.

Key Responsibilities

  * Fault finding and diagnosis of electronic units down to component level

  * Repair and testing of electronic assemblies and units

  * Ensuring all equipment meets safety and compliance standards

  * Supporting engineering activities including modifications and upgrades

  * Maintaining workshop tools, test equipment, and spares

Requirements

  * Experience in electronics repair and component-level fault finding

  * Strong understanding of electronic testing and diagnostics

  * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant role

  * Electronics or electrical qualification (RF experience desirable)

  * Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance

Desirable

  * Experience with RF or radar systems

  * Background in defence, aerospace, or similar regulated environments

  * Experience with reverse engineering or complex electronic assemblies
