Repairs Officer (Contracts) Location: West Norfolk Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £44,109 Recruitment Opportunity – Residential Repairs Management Role Our client, a well-established housing provider in East England, is seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Officer (Contracts) to join their Home and Community Maintenance team. As the recruitment partner for this key position, we are inviting candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to apply. This role offers the chance to manage contracted repairs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure homes are maintained to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: * Managing day-to-day operations of repairs contractors to deliver safe, timely, and cost-effective services. * Conducting full property surveys and monitoring repairs progress. * Using data and insight to improve performance and customer satisfaction. * Overseeing health and safety compliance through regular contractor audits. * Resolving complaints and ensuring a customer-centric approach. * Supporting and supervising an Apprentice Surveyor. Ideal candidate will have: * Experience managing repairs contracts in housing or a related sector. * Strong organisational and communication skills, with good commercial judgement. * Knowledge of building construction, repairs, and relevant housing legislation. * Qualifications such as an HND in Building Construction/Surveying or relevant professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB, RICS). Health and safety certification (NEBOSH) is desirable. * Full UK driving licence with business use insurance.
