Are you an experienced building professional with a passion for improving homes and communities? A respected Housing Association in West Yorkshire is looking for a dedicated Repairs Surveyor to join their Property Services team on a permanent basis.
Role Overview:
As a Repairs Surveyor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective repairs and maintenance services across the housing stock. You'll carry out inspections, diagnose building defects, and manage work from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property inspections and diagnose repair issues.
Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
Manage contractors and ensure works are completed to standard, on time and within budget.
Respond to tenant queries and provide technical advice.
Support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes.What We're Looking For:
Experience in a similar surveying or property maintenance role.
HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Surveying or Construction (or working towards).
Strong knowledge of housing repairs, building pathology, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence.What's On Offer:
