We’re recruiting two management-level positions for a well-respected housing provider in Norfolk. Both roles involve managing in-house trade teams to deliver high-quality housing repairs and refurbishments, with a strong focus on performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
1️⃣ Repairs Officer – Direct Labour Organisation (DLO)
*
Manage and coordinate daily workloads for the in-house trade team
*
Oversee repairs quality, budget control, and timely delivery
*
Conduct surveys, specify works, and ensure compliance with safety standards
*
Carry out pre- and post-inspections, risk assessments, and audits
*
Handle complaints, resolve issues, and drive service improvements
2️⃣ Voids & Repairs Officer
*
Manage and coordinate void property works from survey to completion
*
Oversee budget control, quality standards, and team performance
*
Carry out property inspections, specify works, and ensure compliance with H&S legislation
*
Complete risk assessments, audits, and promote a positive safety culture
*
Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
What you’ll need for both roles:
*
Experience managing repairs or voids in housing or a similar environment
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
*
HND or relevant qualification in Building Construction / Surveying
*
Knowledge of housing legislation, building regulations, and health & safety
*
NEBOSH Certificate (Voids & Repairs Officer) – desirable for DLO role
