Job Description

Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Report Developer in Rochester full time onsite

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Report Developer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Rochester on a 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate:

£42.11 per hour inside / Umbrella

The role:

 Design, develop, and maintain reports using Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, SmartView, FRC and related tools
 Write and optimize **SQL and PL/SQL** queries, procedures, and packages for reporting purposes
 Gather and analyse business requirements to translate them into technical reporting solutions
 Develop complex data models and report layouts based on business needs
 Ensure report accuracy, data consistency, and compliance with business rules
Knowledge & Skills:

 Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
 Hands-on experience with Oracle Reporting tools, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics or relevant reporting tools (essential)
 Solid understanding of Oracle ERP database architecture
 Experience with joins, subqueries, analytic functions, and performance tuning
 Knowledge of XML, RTF templates, and report formatting (for BI Publisher)
 Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud deployments
 3-6+ years of experience in Oracle reporting or related development roles
 Experience in enterprise or ERP-based reporting environments preferred
