The opportunity - Requirements & Certification Systems Engineer: Following the successful development of a brand-new defence system concept demonstrator, which achieved significant success recently with several highly publicised trials taking place. The next stage is to continue to develop this system into a world class, deployable product. The company’s ambitious plans involve parallel and interleaved streams of ground-breaking technology, experimentation and rapid system development, providing opportunities across the key weapon system domains of Systems Engineering: requirements, design, performance analysis and certification, which is why there is a requirement for a Requirements & Certification Systems Engineer. Skills and Qualifications - - Requirements & Certification Systems Engineer: A Systems Engineer with any of the following skills and experience: * Requirements analysis, specifications and justification * Systems proving, design assurance and certification * Experience of developing sophisticated systems, ideally in defence * Understanding of user requirements with the design authorities in response to their needs and constraints * Support functional design with requirement flow down through system/sub-system/equipment * Develop excellent working collaborations and customers/key stakeholders as well as team members and other departments * Experience of system architecting tools e.g. DOORS/DOORS NG/Rhapsody is desirable * Very strong problem-solving skills * Ability to support technical mediation, communicating issues, architectures and ideas at all levels and to varying degrees of specificity. * Ability to disseminate technical information to customers in an understandable manner. * Have a delivery focussed attitude * Shown ability to develop excellent working relationships with partners and key collaborators as well as team members and other departments. You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This role is not open to anyone other than a full UK Citizen or Dual nationality with British Citizenship. Some restrictions may apply.
