Key Responsibilities

Work closely with end users and clients to define, analyse, and document their operational needs.

Translate high-level requirements into detailed system, subsystem, and software specifications.
*
Contribute to developing product-line strategies that enable reuse and adaptability across diverse customer programmes.
*
Establish and maintain processes for effective configuration control and change management.
*
Act as an internal customer and stakeholder for specific software developments, ensuring alignment with system objectives
Requirements
*
Proven experience in requirements definition, analysis, and traceability
*
Familiarity with engineering lifecycle tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, or Rhapsody.
*
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both specialist and non-technical audiences.
*
Hands-on experience with engineering change control and configuration management.
*
Confidence to lead trade-off studies, evaluate options, and guide system development decisions.
*
A background in complex system integration or multi-domain engineering.
*
The ability to articulate system architectures effectively at both strategic and detailed levels.
*
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
