CK Group are currently recruiting for a Research and Development Engineer to join a global medical technology company on a permanent basis.
Location: This position will be located in Limerick, Ireland.
As an R&D Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping products from concept through commercialisation and post-market support. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on innovative healthcare solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead design and development activities for both new and existing products.
Lead system integration efforts, including defect tracking, configuration management, and risk analysis.
Support verification and validation activities, including protocol development and execution.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability teams to ensure smooth product transitions and resolve field issues.
Candidate requirements:
A relevant Engineering qualification.
Proven experience in R&D for complex electro-mechanical systems—medical devices, diagnostics, lab automation, or similar.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, architecture development, integration, and verification.
