Research Contracts Manager
Location: Cambridge
Hours: Part-time, 18–25 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Negotiable DOE
Duration: 6 Months Fixed Term
We are looking for a Research Contracts Manager to join a world-renowned organisation and help support exciting research by handling important contracts and agreements. If you enjoy working in a busy and fast-moving environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Job Duties:
* Draft and negotiate research contracts and agreements
* Provide support and advice on external funding applications and pre-/post-award processes
* Ensure compliance with governance policies, legislation, and institutional procedures
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including legal teams, and funding bodies
* Advise on intellectual property, research ethics, and other matters
* Maintain accurate records and support the development of internal training
What we are looking for:
* Degree in law, business administration, or equivalent experience in research contracts
* Solid experience in contract drafting and negotiation in a research or academic environment
* Understanding of intellectual property rights and research governance
* Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadline.
