As part of this exciting growth, the company is now seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support upcoming projects in North London, ensuring tenants remain informed, supported, and satisfied throughout the refurbishment and retrofit process.
The Role
As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between the site team and tenants living in occupied properties. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that residents feel engaged, listened to, and supported during what can be a disruptive period, while also helping to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Build strong, positive relationships with residents from project outset to completion
*
Carry out pre-start visits to explain works, answer questions, and complete necessary paperwork
*
Maintain regular communication with tenants through letters, calls, and face-to-face updates
*
Handle queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
*
Coordinate access arrangements with residents and the site team
*
Support vulnerable residents or those with special requirements
*
Organise resident information sessions and community engagement events
*
Keep accurate records of correspondence and site visits
*
Liaise with site management to flag and help resolve access or welfare issues
*
Monitor resident satisfaction and assist with post-project feedback
Requirements
*
Previous experience in a Resident Liaison, Customer Care, or Tenant Engagement role
*
Experience working on occupied refurbishment or social housing projects (essential)
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
*
Calm, empathetic, and solution-focused under pressure
*
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, report logging)
