Resident Technician - Offering competitive salary and exciting career development opportunities.

Shifts: Monday - Friday (Earlies, Days & Nights)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum.

Location: Oxfordshire.

Our client specialises in the automation and engineering industry, offering innovative solutions and a collaborative environment. They have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Technician to join their team. This position is well-suited to a problem-solving, proactive individual who is looking to advance their technical career in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

This position is based in the Maintenance & Engineering department and answers to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

Ensure that all machinery is operating at peak efficiency.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Work with other departments to ensure a seamless operation.

Requirements:

Experience in a technical role within a manufacturing or automation environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum NVQ level 2 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.

Able to work flexible shift patterns.

Preferred experience of working within Materials Handling.
