Residential Care Officer
Location: Sandon Close, South Kesteven, NG31 9AX
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 4+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay rate: £ 13.69 per hour

Responsibilities
Conduct three welfare checks per shift, either in person or by phone, to ensure the well-being of the young people.
Document interactions with clients, noting their daily activities and any support provided.
Maintain a supportive environment without engaging in conflicts.
Utilize the lone worker device for safety and communication purposes.
Participate in a comprehensive induction program to understand the role and responsibilities fully.
Person Specification
Compassionate and patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting young people.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions when necessary.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Flexibility to adapt to varying needs and situations within the residential setting.
