Make a Real Difference – Join Our Team as a Residential Children’s Support Worker in Telford! Location: Telford Hours: Full-time | 2 days on / 4 off rolling rota | Includes evenings, weekends & sleep-ins Are you a compassionate and dedicated residential children’s support worker ready to change lives? Join a passionate team that supports children and young people with learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and be the positive influence they need. About the Role As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a trusted mentor and carer, providing daily support in a nurturing environment. You’ll be helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Include: * Delivering person-centred, high-quality care in line with legislation and best practice * Building positive, meaningful relationships that promote trust and emotional well-being * Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans * Support young people in their education, health, and well-being by maintaining communication with schools, attending appointments, and facilitating activities. * Perform household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming home environment. * Actively participate in team meetings, training, and personal development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. * Transport young people to appointments, education, and recreational activities as required.
