Salary: Registered Manager £55,000 – £60,000 | Responsible Individual £500 per day
We are working with a new provider preparing to open a therapeutic solo placement home in Knowsley, supporting one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a brand-new service from the ground up.

Roles Available
Registered Manager (Full-Time, Permanent)
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading the home, recruiting and developing a skilled staff team, and ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding. You will create a nurturing and therapeutic culture where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered.
Responsible Individual (Part-Time, 1 day per week)
As RI, you will provide oversight, guidance, and governance to ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted standards, while supporting the Registered Manager and directors to embed a culture of quality and accountability.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in children’s residential care, ideally within EBD settings
* Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and Ofsted regulations
* NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – RM role
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Commitment to safeguarding, compliance, and positive outcomes for children
