Job Description

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Rugby, which is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy Legal Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident property soliciotr seeking a stable, flexible assignment within a supportive public-sector environment.
 
Role: Residential Property Solicitor – Local Authority
Location: Rugby – hybrid 
 Umbrella Rate: Rate: £45 to £50ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £39.75 to £44.10ph 
 Contract: 3 months ongoing – 21 hours per week over three days
 
Key Responsibilities:

Handling Right to Buy matters and buy-back transactions.
Managing sales and purchases of residential properties.
Dealing with lease extensions, renewals and drafting.
Advising on Consent Orders.
Processing and advising on Assets of Community Value (ACV) applications.
Using IKEN or similar Case Management Systems to manage files efficiently.Requirements:

3+ years of PQE in Residential Property Law as a Solicitor (in England and Wales) with a current practicing certificate.
Strong experience in residential property work within a local authority or comparable setting.
Competence with IKEN or other recognised CMS platforms.Benefits:

Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
