Project Manager / Foreman – Residential Retrofit
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Project Manager / Foreman with a strong background in residential construction or renovation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing retrofit or upgrade projects, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality sustainable solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential construction, renovation, or retrofit projects.
* Third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline. Trade-qualified professionals with management experience will also be considered.
* Experience in energy retrofit or sustainable building practices is a strong advantage.
* Solid understanding of building science, construction principles, and building physics.
* Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations, modern construction technologies, and materials.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
* Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in IT systems and project documentation.
* Full clean driver’s licence required.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support project managers in delivering retrofit and upgrade projects on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety, and customer service.
* Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate and schedule works with internal teams, subcontractors, and installation crews.
* Liaise with clients to plan installation schedules and manage weekly work plans.
* Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance, and address issues.
* Oversee and document compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, variations, and corrective actions.
* Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and milestones.
* Ensure quality installation of insulation, ventilation systems, windows, and renewable energy systems.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and stakeholders, including SEAI teams.
* Identify, track, and report any contract variations or deviations.
* Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency standards, and modern building practices.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple priorities.
