About Us
Assist Care is a 2 bed Children's Home (EBD) in Coventry specialising in providing trauma-informed care to children with Emotional and/or Behavioural Difficulties.
Role: Residential Support Worker - Children’s Home (EBD)
Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour + £60 sleep-in. (£31,700 to £33,800 including sleeps).
Shift pattern: 1 on / 2 off or 2 on / 4 off or 08am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am.
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications/Requirements:
* Must have a valid Right To Work in the UK.
* Must be aged 21 and above.
* Must hold UK Manual Drivers Licence
* Have NVQ Level 3 or above in children's residential care or equivalent or willing to work towards.
* Detailed knowledge of the children's home regulations and standards
* Evidence of having transferable skills that you can bring to our children's home
* Must be fully flexible in working hours Monday - Sunday, including sleeps.
* Residential Children's Support Worker: 1 year
* Ability to use or willing to learn and embrace the use of electronic recording system
* Be willing to partake in any training as instructed by the home.
