Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home (SLD)
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £13–£14 per hour + £65 per sleep | Approx. 40 hours per week | 1 on 2 off shift pattern
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing care provider who are opening a new children’s home in Wolverhampton. The home is registered for up to 10 children with Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and has been thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Facilities include on-site education, a dedicated clinical team, sensory rooms, and beautiful landscaped grounds.
As a Support Worker, you will be at the heart of the home, providing care, support, and encouragement to children with SLD. You will help create a safe, positive and nurturing environment, while supporting children to develop their independence and achieve their goals.

Requirements:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
*
Experience in children’s residential care or working with individuals with SLD, autism, or additional needs is an advantage

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
*
Reliability, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a team
