JM Workforce Services are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children's Social Care provider based in Birmingham and West Midlands to recruit a Children's Residential Support Worker for a Children's home provider.
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Children's Residential Support Worker to lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care for children in a residential setting. The role involves planning and managing shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and providing leadership and support to the care team.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary - £24,500 -£29,000, plus sleep-in allowance

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week plus sleeps

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are kept safe and engaged.
*
Work flexibly, including office hours, early mornings, late nights, regular weekends, and bank holidays.
*
Manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures.
*
Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young people using paperless systems.
*
Act as an advocate for the young people while using a positive parenting model.
Job Requirements:

Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (preferred)
*
Full UK Driving License (essential)
*
Clean DBS
Licence/Certification:
*
Driving Licence (essential)
*
Level 3/4 Residential Childcare or Equivalent (preferred)
