Residential Support Worker
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum 
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (40h per week, including shifts, sleeps, and weekends)

Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring a nurturing, clean, and safe environment for all residents.

Act as a key worker for young people, maintaining accurate files and progressing development plans to ensure high-quality practice.

Develop therapeutic relationships between staff, children, and stakeholders to ensure care needs are met effectively.
Support the management of clinical practices and medication processes in line with current legislation.
Promote the children's involvement and participation in the day-to-day life of the home and maintain appropriate relationships with families.Requirements:

A strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care

Excellent communication and organisational skills to engage with children and multi-disciplinary teams. 
A dedication to maintaining high standards of care that underpin the 'Statement of Purpose' for the home.
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), experience with SEND or complex behavioural needs, and knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks.Even if you don't meet every single criteria listed, if you are a resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting students and a willingness to learn, we would still love to hear from you.
