About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated & experienced Residential Support Workers to join a supportive team within a children’s residential home in Oldham.
The home provides specialist residential care for children & young people up to the age of 18 with Learning Disabilities and Autism, some of whom may display behaviours that challenge.

Key Responsibilities
* Support children & young people in their daily routines & activities
* Create a safe, caring & structured home environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide 24-hour care & support
* Encourage personal development, independence & emotional wellbeing
* Provide personal care where required, depending on the needs of the child
* Maintain accurate records & follow safeguarding procedures
Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable
* Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma (training & support provided)
* Experience supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or SEN
* Understanding of behaviours that challenge
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one – we can assist)
* Full UK Driving Licence – required
* Ability to provide a full employment history / CV
