Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Residential Support Worker to join our team in a day centre environment. You will play a key role in supporting individuals with [e.g., learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, elderly clients] to live fulfilling and independent lives during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide practical and emotional support to service users during the day

Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational programs
*
Encourage and facilitate participation in social, educational, and therapeutic activities
*
Support the development of life skills to promote independence and wellbeing
*
Monitor and record the progress, behaviour, and needs of individuals accurately
*
Liaise with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other external agencies
*
Follow care plans and risk assessments to ensure a safe, person-centred approach
*
Ensure the day centre is a clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment
*
Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
