Children & Young People’s Residential Support Worker – Burton-on-Trent
Location: Burton-on-Trent

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Velox Social Care is seeking committed and compassionate Support Workers to provide structured, person-centred care to Children and Young People (CYP) across the Burton-on-Trent area.
We’re looking for individuals who are not only dedicated and reliable but who genuinely care about supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) to reach their full potential.
Your Role:
*
Provide consistent emotional and practical support to CYP in residential settings
*
Encourage positive development through understanding, care, patience, and structure
*
Record accurate daily logs and communicate effectively with colleagues,
*
Deliver flexible support across a variety of shift patterns, including long/short days and nights
Requirements:
*
Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available)
*
6+ months’ UK experience in a residential setting with children and young people
*
In-date PMVA or Team Teach certificate
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
*
Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care)
*
Full UK driving licence – essential
*
Previous Experience working with Children/Young People with EBD – essential
