Are you passionate about elderly care and ready to take on a leadership role? We are looking to recruit a dedicated Unit Manager, to join a residential and dementia care home in Widnes, Cheshire. This role offers a competitive salary of circa £36,000 per year, with paid breaks included. You'll enjoy working 48 hours per week on day shifts, from 8am to 8pm. This is a chance to lead a team and make a meaningful impact in a well-established care home.
Our client operates a well-regarded residential and dementia care home in Widnes, Cheshire, and as Unit Manager, you will have oversight on a 28 bedded residential unit.
You will be committed to providing high-quality care, and creating a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.
As a Unit Manager, you will:
Oversee a 28-bed residential unit
Manage and support a team of carers, ensuring high standards of care.
Collaborate closely with the home manager on various tasks.
Conduct observations, audits, and manage rota’s
Staff supervisions
Handle care plans, risk assessments, and DOLS.
Have allocated supernumerary time, but be flexible to provide hands-on care when needed.Package and Benefits:

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, Unit Manager, or Deputy
A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or be working towards it.
Strong leadership skills and a passion for elderly care.
Ability to be a positive role model and manage a team effectively.If you have experience or interest in roles such as Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Care Home Manager, or Residential Care Manager, you might find the Unit Manager position to be a perfect fit for you.
