Job Title: Responsible Individual – Children’s Home (Residential)
Location: London and a Kent role is also available
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) pro rata
Bonus: Profit share available
Contract: Part Time
We are seeking a Dynamic individual Responsible Individual to manage 2 OFSTED Pre Registration stage EBD homes based in London 3 bed
Role:
* Ensure the home complies with Safeguarding policies and procedures at all times and encourage open and transparent culture
* Compliance with all Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times
* Ensure that the homes meet the mandatory training and Health and Safety compliance targets
* Ensure full compliance in respect of all relevant legislation and regulations
* Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures at all times
* Promote and ensure the good reputation of the organisation at all times
* Always act in a professional manner, operating with integrity, respecting individuals and maintaining confidentiality
* Promote strong personalisation/individual care & support, striving to achieve the highest standards of personalise support
* Register with Ofsted as Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes, ensuring full regulatory / legislative compliance
* Provide effective leadership; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all designated children’s homes
* Working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team on new business/development projects
* Responsible for Delivering agreed levels of cash-management targets in line with the annual budget, by effectively and efficiently managing resources, and aiming to improve the quality of earnings – optimising profitability and managing costs effectively
Requirements
* Formal sector related qualification, ideally at level 5/7 (desirable) or willingness to work towards
* Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to residential children’s homes (Essential)
* Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting (essential)
