Job Description
Responsible Person (RP) – Pharmaceutical Distribution
Location: North-West UK (On-site)
Travel: Required between multiple warehouse and manufacturing sites
Are you an experienced Responsible Person looking to step into a senior, high-impact role within a growing pharmaceutical organisation? This is an opportunity to lead GDP compliance across several key licensed facilities, ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the designated Responsible Person across multiple licensed sites
* Maintain full compliance with MHRA guidance, GDP, and all relevant regulatory requirements
* Lead internal audits, external inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing teams to uphold strong quality systems
* Provide expert advice on regulatory expectations, operational risk, and supply chain integrity
* Drive best practice in distribution, storage, and handling of medicinal products
About You
* Proven experience as an RP within a pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution environment
* Strong, up-to-date knowledge of GDP, MHRA expectations, and pharmaceutical quality systems
* Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills
* Comfortable working fully on-site and travelling between operational sites as required
