Responsive Repairs Surveyor
Hampshire | £38,000- £43,000 per annum | 37 hours per week
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and values-driven housing organisation, for a Repairs Surveyor to join their property services team in Hampshire on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
The Role
As the Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering responsive repairs and surveying services across residential properties. This includes:

Carrying out property inspections in tenants’ homes
*
Diagnosing and specifying repair works
*
Investigating issues such as damp, mould and condensation
*
Conducting mutual exchange and minor works surveys
*
Liaising with contractors and overseeing small-scale works
*
Managing your own workload via a mobile scheduling system
*
Ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout all interactions
About You
Our client is looking for someone who has:
*
A recognised qualification in Building, Surveying, Planning or equivalent (HNC or higher)
*
Strong experience in the construction or property maintenance sector
*
Ideally, previous experience working in social housing (desirable)
*
Excellent time management and organisational skills
*
A professional and empathetic approach to dealing with customers
*
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
