The Company
This company is one of the largest retail and services businesses in the UK and they operate a portfolio of modern and busy sites in high profile locations throughout the country. Most of their stores are centrally located in either prime high street units or can be found in highly visible locations in most of the major out of town shopping centres. Currently undergoing considerable development, the business is looking for an ambitious and capable Store Manager to spearhead both future store growth and to take the business into new and exciting territory.
The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager this role has considerable influence on all day to day and strategic business objectives. Working with an experienced team the Store Manager will be tasked with maximising commercial performance without compromising on service standards and providing a lead with regards to site recruitment and retention, the implementation and management of all local marketing initiatives, managing P&L contribution and ensuring that every customer receives a fantastic overall experience. As a brand ambassador for the local area, applicants will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and be dedicated to both meeting and surpassing their expectations.
The Candidate
We are looking for Store Managers with at least 12 months of sales management experience who are comfortable managing teams within the retail, hospitality or leisure sector. Applicants will be consummate people managers, able to lead and motivate a group of passionate and dedicated subordinates to achieve business goals through clear communication and an empowered management style. We require Store Managers with an eye for commercial opportunity and an ability to manage business contribution through a close attention to detail and an understanding of the overall strategic objective.
