About Us
We’re a forward-thinking contractor specialising in retrofit and refurbishment works for housing associations across the UK. We’re looking for a driven Retrofit Project Manager to take ownership of our housing retrofit and refurb schemes from inception to completion.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll lead on the planning, delivery, and operational success of multiple retrofit and refurbishment projects. You’ll coordinate everything from strategy and design through to on-site supervision, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will set the tone for a positive health and safety culture and a strong sense of purpose on every site.
What You’ll Do

Oversee operational duties from inception to completion, promoting a positive health and safety culture at all times
*
Plan, schedule, and coordinate project strategy and design in line with client requirements and PAS 2035/2030 standards where applicable
*
Manage the construction process, supervising all activity on-site and ensuring efficient use of labour, tools, and materials
*
Carry out risk management and risk assessments, enforcing safety procedures and compliance standards
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with housing association clients, stakeholders, and on-site teams
*
Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and cost monitoring to senior management and clients
*
Manage, develop, and mentor reporting staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
*
Drive awareness and delivery of social value outcomes in line with project objectives
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven track record in Project Management within retrofit, refurbishment, or social housing construction
*
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple priorities
*
Commercial awareness and the ability to control budgets and programmes
*
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
*
Knowledge of PAS 2035 and sustainable construction methods is highly desirable
