BIM Technician (MEP Focus) - Up to £50,000 - Hybrid - Dartford-Based
An established engineering consultancy based in Dartford is currently seeking a skilled BIM Technician with a strong focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality BIM solutions across a diverse range of building services projects.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and coordination of BIM models, supporting engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, efficient design and delivery using industry-standard software and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed MEP BIM models for building services projects.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure coordinated and clash-free designs.
Produce accurate drawings, schedules, and data exports from models.
Support BIM execution plans and ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
Assist in the implementation of BIM workflows and contribute to continual process improvement.Requirements:
Proven experience as a BIM Technician with a strong focus on MEP systems.
Proficient in Revit and other relevant BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP).
Solid understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and UK construction practices.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.What's on Offer:
