RF Test Engineer
Location: Hereford
Salary: £38,000 to £45,000
An opportunity has opened for an RF Test Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Hereford. The ideal candidate will have an excellent background in Electronics testing including using multimeters and spectrum analysers. You will also have experience within Radio Frequency (RF) testing.
RF Test Engineer Key Skills:
* Extensive experience of Electronics testing
* Experience using test equipment – oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers etc
* Experience of Radio Frequency testing (RF Test)
* Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
* RF amplifier, filters knowledge would be a bonus
* Fault finding to component level experience
RF Test Engineer Responsibilities:
* Testing and fault finding electronic and RF products and PCBs
* Performing any repairs after faults spotted
* Using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and other test equipment
* Some soldering/rework may be required
* Ensure any problems with customer RF products are diagnosed
* Document all changes and test results
