As Risk and Assurance Manager, you’ll drive governance, strengthen organisational resilience, and champion continuous improvement. You’ll work across programmes, teams, and senior leadership to embed a culture of proactive risk management and assurance — ensuring the organisation delivers with confidence, transparency, and impact.
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills and a collaborative mindset. Someone who can translate complex frameworks into practical solutions, influence at senior levels, and lead change in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing and delivering risk and assurance frameworks across the organisation
* Advising senior leaders and programme teams on mitigation strategies and assurance planning
* Supporting governance and audit processes, including reporting to executive and board-level forums
* Building strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners
* Championing a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement
About you:
You’ll be a credible and confident professional, with:
* Proven experience in risk, assurance, or audit within complex organisations
* Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and public sector accountability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
