Do you have experience in project risk management and want to work on high-value, complex engineering projects? Are you confident in delivering risk analysis and reporting to influence key business decisions? Do you have strong skills in probabilistic modelling and risk tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis? The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk Practitioner to join a leading engineering consultancy, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering risk management expertise, ensuring projects are delivered with improved predictability and control. We would also welcome applications from these industries: nuclear, defence, energy, utilities, and infrastructure. The Role This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Risk Analyst, Risk Consultant, Project Risk Engineer, Risk Coordinator, Risk Manager, Project Controls Specialist, Cost Risk Analyst, Risk and Opportunity Manager, Risk Modeller, or Risk Planning Specialist. Your duties and responsibilities will be Facilitate and manage risk workshops, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and documented effectively Maintain and update project risk registers, providing accurate and timely reporting to senior stakeholders. Deliver both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to support project funding and decision-making. Advise project teams on mitigation strategies and promote best practice in risk management across the organisation. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in risk processes and controls.You will have the following qualifications and experience Degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised risk management qualification (IRM, PMI-RMP or similar). Proven experience in project risk management within major projects (nuclear or regulated industry experience desirable). Strong capability in probabilistic modelling using tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis (or similar). Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
