Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Nursing Home – near Leatherhead
We are proud to be partnering with a reputable care group currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team in a 40-bedded nursing home specialising in mental health conditions.
Location: Leatherhead
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 33 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
Rate: £24.00 - £25.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
As an RMN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents living with various mental health conditions. Working within a supportive, professional team, you will help enhance residents’ quality of life, dignity, and independence.
Requirements:
Valid NMC PIN (RMN Registration)
Previous experience working in mental health care settings (nursing homes, hospitals, or supported living)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Compassionate, dedicated, and committed to maintaining high standards of care
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering and overseeing safe, high-quality nursing care tailored to individual mental health needs
Leading and coordinating shifts, delegating tasks to care staff appropriately
Monitoring and administering medication in line with NMC guidelines and company policy
Creating, updating, and evaluating person-centred care plans and risk assessments
Supporting residents in daily activities and encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Liaising with healthcare professionals, families, and advocates to ensure continuity of care
Supporting staff development and promoting a positive and respectful workplace culture
Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols
