Job Description
Road Freight Coordinator | Manchester | Up to £37,000 per annum
I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Road Freight Operator with strong knowledge of European transport and customs procedures to join a fast-paced, client-focused logistics company based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Job type: Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00-17:00
Salary: Up to £37,000
Day to day:
Providing accurate and competitive quotes for European road freight movements
Creating bookings and ensuring all export documentation and customs requirements are met
Liaising with customers regarding collection and delivery dates, ensuring smooth communication throughout the process
Monitoring and managing shipments, proactively resolving any issues or delays
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on service excellence and repeat business
Requirements
Proven European road freight experience with a UK based forwarder
Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship is on offer)
Experience in Road Import and/or Export
Customs awareness and understanding of current export procedures
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
The ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
