Job Vacancy: Road Sweeper Driver – South Bristol 🚧
Location: South Bristol (construction site)
Position Type: Full-time, ongoing contract
Start Date: October/November 2025
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Road Sweeper Driver to join our team on a busy building site in South Bristol.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and take pride in maintaining clean and safe working environments.
Responsibilities:
• Operate road sweeping vehicles safely and efficiently on and around active construction sites
• Keep access roads, haul routes, and site entrances clear of mud and debris
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Adhere to all site health & safety rules and traffic management plans
• Liaise with site management and logistics teams to plan sweeping schedules
Requirements:
✅ HGV Category C licence
✅ Valid Driver CPC
✅ Valid CSCS, CPCS, or NPORS card (preferentially category N217)
✅ Full PPE
✅ Previous experience driving and operating road sweepers
✅ Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations
✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Hours:
Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday work as required
Pay:
Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Contract: Ongoing – potential for long-term workBefore You Apply
