An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham are looking for someone who has experience of setting and operating CNC machines who would like to set and operate a robot on their night shift.
The hourly rate is up to £20.35ph, working Sunday: 20:30 - 7:00 Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 7:00.
Robot Cell Setter / Operator duties:-
Setting and operating of the robot cell
Responsible for setting and operating 3-axis & 5-axis milling machines
Work with a variaty of metals including aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boards
Working closely with the rest of the machine shop to deliver on time
Deburring and manually finishing parts
Responsible for the cutting and preparing of materialsThe right person for the role with have a good understanding of the following:-
Haas and fanuc controls
Have a strong engineering background
Keen eye on detail
Be flexible with the work you are doing across the machine shopThis is a temporary to permanent role, working for a company with a full order book until the early 2030's, so it's an exciting time to join them.
