Tradewind Are Recruiting - SEND Teaching Assistants Needed in Rochdale!
Are you a teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for full-time SEND Teaching Assistants for long-term temporary roles starting September 2025 at a SEND Secondary School in Rochdale.
The Role:
Full-time, term-time only (8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Supporting students aged 11-16 with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Communication Needs
Working 1:1 and in small groups
Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Helping deliver and monitor Individual Education Plans
Liaising with teachers, parents, and external professionalsExperience in SEND is ideal, but we welcome applications from TAs with relevant experience in mainstream settings.

All pupils have EHCPs, with a focus on SEMH, autism, and speech and language needsRequirements:
Minimum 3 months' recent TA experience in a UK school (referenced)
