What You’ll Be Doing
* Ensure IPC is integrated into all hospital activities and new business initiatives.
* Develop and implement an annual IPC programme in line with national standards.
* Lead and train staff in IPC practices, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
* Collaborate with the local Infection Control Doctor to manage infection risks and conduct surveillance programmes.
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Postgraduate qualification in IPC (PGCert minimum) or working towards it.
* Specialist knowledge in IPC and experience in risk assessment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver training and feedback effectively.
